About Call Tonic
Call Tonic is a small editorial project with a narrow mission: make meeting audio problems go away quickly. No 3,000-word essays above the answer, no screenshots from three redesigns ago — a direct fix, the exact menu path, and an honest note about when it won't work.
How we work
Every guide starts from a problem people actually search for. Before we publish, each menu path is checked against the app vendor's current official documentation — Zoom, Microsoft, Google and Cisco all maintain detailed support libraries, and ours must agree with theirs on the day we press publish. Each article displays when its paths were last verified, and we re-check when the apps ship notable audio changes.
What we don't claim
We're writers and researchers, not a hardware lab. Where we haven't run something hands-on ourselves, we say so plainly and stick to what documentation and the vendor's own materials support. Product pages on this site follow the same rule — see any article's dated verification note.
How this site is funded
Some pages contain affiliate links, clearly disclosed where they appear. Recommendations are written first, monetised second — the honest version of that sentence is on our affiliate disclosure page.
